Our Yosemite National Park hotel is conveniently located on scenic Highway 120 in Buck Meadows, just past the historic gold rush town of Groveland, California. With the most spacious and well-appointed guest rooms in the region and facilities that include a seasonal pool and spa, WiFi, guest laundry, and seasonal on-site restaurant, The Yosemite Westgate Lodge is the closest and most modern hotel to the world-renowned natural treasure, Yosemite.

Yosemite Hotels & Lodging

Our hotel boasts luxuriously appointed and newly remodeled and extremely spacious rooms. Most of our rooms have two queen-size beds, making them ideal for families or groups. The Yosemite Westgate Lodge is a 100% Non-Smoking facility and unfortunately, Pets are NOT allowed. All of our rooms have unique photography of the park from our selected professional photographer Scott Sandler. You can find his images for sale at www.sandlerphotography.com. The Lodge has a seasonal swimming pool, spa, playground, laundry facilities, and an adjacent restaurant. WiFi is available but may be limited in effectiveness due to our wooded natural surroundings.

The Westgate is a horseshoe-shaped facility with 6 independent buildings that frame a central area with a playground, seasonal pool, and spa. Behind the property is an expansive meadow where you are welcome to picnic during the day or enjoy the stars at night. The property offers ample space for gatherings with family and friends.

Wildlife abounds from the many deer that frequent our property grounds, hence the name of our town, Buck Meadows, to the mountain lions, black bears, bobcats, and many other Sierra animals. Every season brings its own unique picturesque moments, from blooming wildflowers during the spring and summer to the colors of fall and snow in the winter. It is hard to believe that this serene oasis is just hours from bustling metropolitan cities like San Francisco and Los Angeles.

The Lucky Buck Cafe is a seasonal restaurant located right next door that offers great American dining throughout the spring and Summer and with limited hours during the Fall and Winter. With a full menu of good old hearty home-cooked meals from eggs and pancakes in the morning to steak for dinner, The Lucky Buck Cafe is a great place to start your day before your hike and end it after touring The Park. The Lucky Buck Cafe also offers beer and wine and occasional live music with darts and shuffleboard.

Note that GPS devices are generally not reliable up in the mountains and if you use GPS to reach our hotel, you will NOT find us. If your GPS device can find the town of Buck Meadows, CA, then it will properly get you to us, otherwise plugging in our address will NOT lead you to us. We are NOT in Groveland. We are 12 miles further East towards the Park past the town of Groveland in Buck Meadows.
